Waroeng Ethnic is a classic, simple kind of restaurant. Lighting is slight  yellowish, which gives you a romantic ambiance.

They are serving both indonesian and western food. My review here goes to the 'secret' menu, one that you have to ask to see. I just found out about it from my friend, i mean where have i been, right?

Ragi Rosti - Rp 79.000

This 'secret' menu are 90% pork. And i tried their Ragi Rosti. Their Rosti is very well known, and it IS delicious. Pork meat is not quite tender tho.

BBQ Smoked Pork Chop - Rp 85.000

Bbq smoked pork chop is good, but again, the pork meat is not quite tender.

Kopi Susu Panas - Rp 14.000

Sereh Tea Panas - Rp 20.000

For drink, i ordered Kopi Susu Panas and Sereh Tea Panas. The coffee taste is ordinary, while Sereh Tea is awesome. I like how fragrant the lemongrass is.

Overall, it's a pleasant gastronomic experience and i'd love to come back for another round.

Started off as an on call bbq service in 2010, Holycow now has 11 branch already, including 2 in Bandung, 1 in Semarang, and 1 in Surabaya.

This review is based on my personal experience at Holycow TKP Bandung2. Though located at a 2 star hotel, don't worry since their food taste & quality is a 5 star one. The place is perfect for family and friends dining. It has a simple minimalist interior with wooden tables and chairs. Highlight for the chairs, since it has colorful seat back.

Beef Ribs Half - Rp 159.000

Beef Ribs Half (500 gr) was perfectly cooked, it's so tender and juicy. I'm amazed how i could detached the meat from bone easily. However, the seasonings haven't seep through every part of the meat. The ribs is served with special sauce (kind of like bolognaise sauce), french fries and roasted corn.

Holysteak - Rp 129.000

Their Holysteak (400 gr) was just as awesome. Look at that thickness *drool*. And it still easily sliced. Dipped it into the buddys special sauce and it's DOUBLE YUM. Buddys special sauce is cream sauce mixed with basil, taste was creamy and slight salty. Recommended one :D

Es Teh Tarik - Rp 15.000; Ice Cappucinno - Rp 15.000

Ordered Es Teh Tarik and Ice Cappucinno for drink. It's just a standard taste. Fyi, they also served Nestea lemon and blackcurrant.

Free Ice Cream

Andddd.... I get this ice cream condiment ❤ Simply just by uploading my photo to instagram and mention @holycow_radal and #TKPBandung2. Yay!! There were 2 choices of flavour, vanilla and chocolate.

Holycow is one of a great steak place in Bandung. Pricewise, you may think it's quite expensive. But you get what you pay. It's really worth every Rupiah :D

UPDATED! Saka Bistro has become one of my favorite coffee time cafe in Bandung. I really really like the ambiance and enjoy my sip of coffee here.

As i stepped in, i'm greeted by a cute vespa honk honk...hehe... The room is spacious & bright, has plenty windows, some pop up color here & there. Every corner is instagram worthy. It's a great place to chill out/hangout with your friends or family, and even to work with your laptop. There's also wi-fi available if you need it.

For the food, I ordered this Hamburg steak. Standard taste of beef patty, fries, salad & sauce. I just like the runny egg

While the Sticky ribs is good. It's a fragrant green rice with caramelized tender juicy ribs.

Overall, the food taste is standard. But their latte art is fabulously GORGEOUS and taste great. This is a must must order if you come to Saka Bistro. You can choose which art you want from their instagram @sakabistrobar or @tan2_saka . Don't forget to call if their barista Tan2 is there tho. He's the man behind all the cute and beautiful latte art here.
