Donwoori/Sweet Belly @ Jl Lombok, Bandung

Donwoori is a korean food and suki restaurant, while Sweet Belly is an ice cream and munchies cafe. They make their own ice cream, with variations such as american cheesecake, baileys cream, nutella, hazelnut, mango, pink guava, tiramisu, etc. Tried some of 'em, and i like the american cheesecake and hazelnut ❤
It's not hard to find this cafe, very near to KFC Jl Riau. You won't miss it since it has an eyecatchy exterior. Sweet belly occupied the whole terrace, while Donwoori is inside the building. It was Sunday afternoon and Sweet Belly is fully packed, so i dine inside Donwoori.
As you get closer and closer, it really get sweeter. Donwoori is painted with these pastel blue color, with some blue cushioned wooden bench. There are also quote decorations on their walls, such as this one when i came in.
Come in Moment :D
Whichever table you dine, you can ordered food from both cafe. Just raise your hand & ask for the menu.

Bokkeum Rice
Here's what i tried @ Sweet Belly, Bokkeum rice, it's a sauteed sausage & vegetable cooked with spicy korean sauce. It is served with rice & kimchi. Has soury and spicy flavour. The kimchi is too fermented, it gave stingy sensation when you ate it.
Bibingsoo - Rp 38.000
Isn't this BiBingSoo cute? I absolutely LOVE the presentation. There are q-balls, fresh cuts of strawberry, kiwi, mango, sweetened red bean served with vanilla ice cream and topped with popping orange pudding.
Original Chicken Wings - Rp 32.500
Now for Donwoori, i tried their Original Chicken Wings. It's well seasoned, with salty cheesy powders on top, crispy, but a little dry inside.
Baso goreng - Rp 29.900
This is one of the tastiest Baso goreng i've tried. You can choose it from suki counter. Don't forget to ask the waiter to refry it to get the perfect taste.

All in all, i love the ambiance, love the service, but food taste so far is average. Still curious of the suki menu tho

Bakso Boedjangan @ Foodcourt BIP, Bandung

With all the hype on social media and crowds everytime i passed, i'm curious about what it taste like. Currently bakso Boedjangan has 7 branches, 6 in Bandung and 1 in Garut. It's a lot, right? Well, here is the list:
credits to @baksoboedjangan
So when i strolled around at foodcourt BIP (Bandung indah plaza) and found their small stall, i came and tried it.
Bakso Keju - Rp 20.000

I had high expectation for their Bakso menu and ordered Bakso Keju. But it fails me huhu. I like the big Bakso Keju (Cheese meatball), it has a balanced cheese & meat taste. But the regular bakso taste not fresh. And the broth is oily, giving a greasy aftertaste on your mouth. Noodles also taste like an instant one. Not good not good.
Yamin Manis - Rp 14.000
Their Yamin Manis is also disappointing. It's overcooked, and too salty. Won't ordered this again.
Es Durian Kesepian - Rp 23.500
Now this is what comforts me after the storm, ES DURIAN KESEPIAN. It is gooodddd. Savoury, fragrant durian meat with sweet milky soup and ice. Ahh, so refreshing. I slurp it happily down to the last spoonful.

How's your dine in experience with Bakso Boedjangan? I'd love to hear it. For me, i don't mind coming back and give it another try, since i still found menu that i liked :D

Warunk Segood @ Jl Cihampelas, Bandung

Halloo hollaa... Here's another addition to indomie restaurant fever in Bandung, WARUNK SEGOOD. Besides indomie, they also serve fried rice, toasted bread, fried beancurd, chicken & french fries. And another good news is, all menu's price is under Rp 20.000. Yay! So enjoy your 'nongki' hangout time here :D

'Come in' Warunk Segood
From now on, i'll post 'come in moment' photo like this hoho.. It's what you see as you step in. Warunk Segood has this industrial, undone interior, wooden tables and chairs. I think it's nice for a little chit chat & snack time.

Kentang Kukukriuk - Rp 17.500
This Kentang Kukukriuk has a crispy french fries & chicken served with bbq sauce. What i like is the chili powdered chicken.

Ropang Jasuke - Rp 17.500
This one ME LIKE IT *nyam*
Ropang Jasuke aka jagung susu keju. You can taste all toppings mentioned above in a delicious way. And the bread are toasted perfectly. It has the good crispiness as you munch it.

Milo Shake, Silverqueen Shake, Red Velvet Shake @ Rp 15.000

Meet the beverages of the night, from left to right, Milo shake, Silverqueen shake, and Red velvet shake. Which one looked more delicious?
The milo thickness on Milo shake is good. I love it!
But the Silverqueen shake is far from my expectation. It is a 'not too' vanilla shake with crushed silverqueen on top. I thought it would be blended like a chocolate shake. I don't reconmend this one.

Will i come back? Yup

Bigul Kenken @ Ruko Grand Eastern, Bandung

If you know what they're selling, i'm sure you can guess what Bigul stands for. Or you already have a guess?
Located at Ruko grand eastern, this 2 floor restaurant can easily be seen from Pasirkaliki street. They just opened around 2 weeks ago and has been crowded since. Made me so so curious. And finally last night, i landed HERE. It's been a delicious experience. So... if you're a pork lover, you really can't miss this place.

A thing to note first, if you look at their menu, you'll find 'Lawar'. This is Bali local vegetable dish, made of chopped vegetables with mixed herbs. Unbelievably, my carnivore friends like this. If you wanna try 'Lawar', you can order either Nasi Bagor or Nasi Bigul.

Nasi Bagor - Rp 36.363
Here goes Nasi Bagor, my champ of the night. Rice topped with seasoned fried pork belly, pork satay, lawar, fried peanut, and red chili sauce. The fried pork belly is YUM, more flavourful than the regular one. Pork satay meats are tender, has delightful smoky taste, and nicely seasoned. Uwaaahhh so good!
Nasi Bigul SP - Rp 36.363
Meet their signature dish, Nasi Bigul Sp aka Nasi Babi Guling Special. Rice topped with suckling pig, pork satay, fried pork skin, fried peanut, lawar, and red chili sauce. Their suckling pig is different from what i expect, i expect it to be more roasted. But it still tasty and flavorful. Fried pork skins are also crunchy.
Nasi Babi - Rp 36.363
Different from the other 2 above, this Nasi Babi is topped with lap chiong (pork sausage), ma ling (pork luncheon meat), fried pork belly, sunny side up, sauteed bokcoi and chinese cabbage. There's one more topping, it's kinda like roulade and has salty, weird taste. If you like spicy foods, just mix the green chili sauce with the rice. Oooh yeah....

Infused kangen water - Rp 40.909
For drink, i got infused kangen water in lemon, cucumber, and mint. This menu is only available in a big jar, and can be shared up to 5 people. Taste are bland, guess it's not been infused long enough.

Summary: I'LL BE BACK :D
