Night Street Food @ Jalan Alor, Kuala Lumpur

I'm more than grateful to have a chance to visit Kuala Lumpur for 3 days and 2 nights. Yaayyy! 2 hours flight away from Bandung and here I am. The city much or less resembles Jakarta.

There, i had the chance to visit one of the biggest street food around, Jalan Alor. I think it's comparable to Cibadak street in Bandung. Dozens of seller start to serve their food from around 5 pm.

Here are some food that i've tried,

Wan Tan Mee - RM 7
I walked in from Changkat Bukit Bintang and this Wan Tan Mee stall is located on the left side, near a seafood restaurant. This Wan Tan Mee is a-ma-zing! I personally prefer thin noodles than those udon type one. And this thin mee is nicely seasoned, sweet and savoury. Love the red coated pork too. The wan tan is simply heartwarming, it has a thin skin and generous filling made of pork & shrimp mixture.

Assorted Dim Sum - RM 10 (7 pcs)
Continue walking and you'll noticed a dimsum seller. You can choose from various siomay, and meatball available in the steamer. I mostly chose siomay, since it's very eyecatching. This siomay is made of chicken mixture, a bit sweet. Tastewise it's average, almost all of what i've bought tasted similar. So it's nearly impossible to finish it on your own.

Wong Ah Wah Chicken Wings @ RM 3,3
Now this is my CHAMP of the night, Chicken Wings from Wong Ah Wah. Really, I'm not a chicken wings fan. But this one is specially seasoned, grilled perfectly until there is a fragrant smoked taste in every bite. Wonderful. If you want to have it taken away like mine, you'll have to buy min 2 pcs. Dont worry,  you won't missed the restaurant, since it's very large near the end of Alor Street.

Herbal Tea - RM 2,2
Herbal Tea is one of a common drink you'd found in Kuala Lumpur's restaurant. Made of Luo Han Guo fruit, which is very good for sore throat. Tasted sweet and medicinal. Me like it.

Two Hands Full @ Jl Sukajadi, Bandung

Coffee, anyone? Two Hands Full, one of my favorite coffee shop in Bandung. The coffee here is nicely brewed, with awesome smell that lingers all over the room. My avid coffee friend once told me, the best coffee doesn't need any additional sugar. And that's what happen when i sip Cappuccino here.
THF Signboard!!

Come in Moment :D
Interiors is a typical coffee shop one, with industrial unfinished look. There's a coffee bar and a small outdoor area. I personally prefer to sit indoor to chat and hangout with some friends. But for photo taking purposes, outdoor is the best with its vintage wooden table. Service is good, i don't wait too long for my food & drink to be served.

Two Hands Full's food concept is all day breakfast, so don't expect to find any main course menu here. But fear not, it's in a medium or large portion, which is enough to keep your tummy filled.  Now let's get started!

PP Sliders - Rp 50.000
This Pulled Pork Sliders is de-li-cio-so. The pork is nicely marinated, fragrant and not overly sweet. I love to squeeze the lemon juice a bit, which give a tangy, refreshing flavour. Ah, one thing to noted, the pork is in shredded form and overall, it gives more texture as you eat it. French fries is nicely fried.

Omega Lovers - Rp 60.000
When i look at this menu, oh wow, i'm drooling right away. Really really full of omega with that salmon and double eggs over there... And it's THAT smoked salmon which make the whole dish magnificent. The way they poached the egg too, it's PERFECTLY runny. But as a whole dish, it still lacks flavor. I think it would be better if it's drizzled with some sauce.

PP Quesadillas - Rp 50.000
If you like spicy food, you may want to try this PP Quesadillas. It's made of spicy chili shredded pork on a tortilla wrap.

Eggs in Hell - Rp 55.000
This Eggs in tomato salsa Hell is really yummy, I think the sauce is alike with Bolognaise Sauce. Who agree? And the eggs is also PERFECTLY poached. Yum!

Pulled Pork Bene - Rp 60.000
This Pulled Pork Bene is a complete meal! I got carbohydrate from toasted bread, protein from egg, fat from pork, and vitamins from the vegetables. I love the crisp toasted bread, runny egg, and fragrant shredded pork. And the BEST part is, the shredded pork is marinated with beer. That's why it has a tender texture, nice fragrant and taste. I recommend you to cut it straight, and munch everything on top of that toasted bread rather than eating it separately. It really gives you THAT delicious burst in your mouth. My personal favourite chu~

Oreo Mille Crepe - Rp 38.000
This Oreo Mille Crepe is the best one that i've tried in Bandung so far. It's made by Lareia Cake, and available at Two Hands Full Coffee. The mille crepe layers is awesomely thin and soft, so when you eat it, it melts in your mouth. Double yum!

Snicker Mud Cake - Rp 39.000
Have you ever tried Mud Cake? It's made of chocolate and really has a mud like texture, which is gooey and sticky. The snickers give additional twist to the cake. Good.

Affogato - Rp 30.000
Affogato is one of that drink i'll always order in a coffee shop. Since it's made of espresso shot, it defines how good and fragrant is the coffee bean used. While vanilla ice cream neutralize the coffee bitterness. I'm in love with Two Hands Full's Affogato. The affogato is amazingly fragrant, sweet and creamy. Happy ^^

Cappuccino - Rp 28.000
I always like to see latte art every time i ordered hot coffee in a coffee shop. Well here in Two Hands Full, it seems like they made it in a hurry because the shape is not too pretty. Tastewise, it's awesome. No need to add any sugar.

Iced Mocha - Rp 30.000
Simply nothing ever went wrong with their coffee so far. The coffee bean is nicely brewed, so just choose one that suits your personal taste. Above is their Iced Mocha.

Iced Chocolate - Rp 30.000
The Iced Chocolate is good. One of a good options here when you'd like to drink something else than coffee.

Sooooo..... Two Hands Full is one of my recommended coffee shop to visit in Bandung. Love the ambiance, the service, the perfectly poached egg, the food, and mostly, the COFFEE.

He Fu Restaurant @ Jl Gardujati, Bandung

Who likes dimsum for breakfast? Me like it! He Fu is one of the newest dimsum restaurant in Bandung. In Chinese, He Fu means Joy Luck, which is a very nice meaning. He Fu is located at Hotel Grand Sovia Gardujati. Interiors are typical chinese restaurant with wooden tables and chairs.

There are steamed and fried dimsum carts which went all around the room. Here are some that i've tried.
Steamed Beancurd (S)
I like how soft the beancurd is, and how this is nicely seasoned, mild salty from soy sauce  Fillings are made of shrimp.

Har Gao (S)
I think every dim sum restaurant has this Har Gao menu. Shrimp filling is fresh. The skin is a bit thicker than my preference, but i munch it happily.

Salted Egg Yolk Pao (S)
Their Bak Pao Telur Asin is yummy. I like that soft and melt in your mouth filling. The salted egg yolk paste is great, not too salty or sweet. The skin is soft too. Recommended.

Pork Cheong Fan (M)
I'm a big fan of Cheong Fan, but here at He Fu, the skin is way way too thick for me.

Fried Taro (S)
The Talas Goreng is good, filling is made of chopped carrot and beef meat. But it is oily which gave that unpleasant aftertaste in your mouth.

Pork Wrapped in Beancurd Skin (M)
This Pork Wrapped in Beancurd Skin is what I'll order again and again each time i have dimsum at He Fu. Love the tender pork meat, shitake mushroom, and the mild salty consomme.

And for drink, i always have chinese tea everytime i had dimsum.

Overall, it's a pleasant breakfast and i'd be happily to come over again some time

S- Rp 20.000
M - Rp 22.000
